Originally from Italy, Roberto has shaped strategies and designs for products and services in the US, Europe, Russia, Middle East, China, and Asia Pacific. With a Master’s in Philosophy from the University of Padova, Roberto approaches his work through the perspectives of ethics and societal significance. For Roberto, form follows values.
Roberto believes in the values of personal data ownership and agency—in the position that individuals should own all their personal data and use it to inform their actions. Therefore, businesses should root their offering in consumer trust and empowerment.
Today, he leads the evolution of Helix, a genomics company with the goal of empowering every person to improve their life through DNA. Helix aims to make DNA testing “accessible and actionable,” and a fundamental human right.
