On Saturday, December 14, the NYC community of the House is coming together for a holiday potluck. As 2024 winds down and we begin to look to the coming year, fellow community members Shana Dressler, Angel Acosta and Neil Redding invite you to spend a relaxing and rejuvenating evening sharing food, drink, ideas and inspiration.

We’ll gather on Zoom to explore one of the five Opportunities together with all PolyOpportunity attendees and the House community at large.

In the tradition of the Roaring Twenties, we’ll gather to examine the end of a dying era and the beginning of a new one. We’ll take an unflinching look at overlapping crises, from climate change and geopolitical rifts to the divisions that harden us and our fears of loss. But don’t worry, it won’t be completely bleak! New opportunities will shine light through the cracks. The Salon will transform into an intellectual rave, and we’ll have the whole night to set a raucous and invigorating new agenda, letting our embodied knowledge lead the way.

Over the course of 12 weeks, we will explore, acquire, and practice the Powers—The PolyOpportunity’s ten essential meta-skills: Humility, Attention, Imagination, Conviction, Courage, Energy, Intimacy, Resilience, Laughter, and Time.

We’ll gather in a former Capuchin monastery overlooking the Hudson River to pause, reflect, and explore the tenets of healing-centered leadership. We’ll combine somatic, emotional, spiritual, and artificial intelligence to build the PolyOpportunity map from within ourselves.
