A prominent journalist, author, and leading thinker on the digital economy, Miriam is the former publisher of Germany’s leading business weekly, WirtschaftsWoche, and of ada, a new platform for the economy of the future. Since 2005, she is a professor for corporate communication at the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland. From 2001 to 2005, she held public office in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia. As a member of the jury of the Development Gateway Foundation of the World Bank, she was instrumental in designing the Development Gateway Award (Petersberg Prize).
