Havens, executive director at The IEEE Global Initiative on Ethics of Autonomous and Intelligent Systems; Kit McDonnell, systems biologist at Ginkgo Bioworks; and Jared Ficklin, chief creative technologist at argodesign. From ethical guidelines for AI to the promise of synthetic biology to “fantastic futures,” they each presented a different vision of humane technology.
