The Power of Ritual

What if Zoom calls were like a trip to the church? The hungrier we are for meaning and connection, the more we act from a place of isolation and despair – but what if we were to open spaces based on sacred principles and the aim to bring joyful belonging?

Sharing insights from his forthcoming book, The Power of Ritual, author Casper ter Kuile joined us for a conversation (and some collective experiments) on soul-centered rather than human-centered design, and the practice of modern rituals that can change the way we gather.

Casper is the co-founder of the Sacred Design Lab, a research and design consultancy working to create a culture of belonging and becoming, and a Ministry Innovation Fellow at Harvard Divinity School. He also co-hosts the award-winning podcast Harry Potter and the Sacred Text and co-authored “How We Gather."
